Did you know that the inaugural meeting of the Association of Island Obedience Clubs (AIOC) took place Feb. 6, 1960 in Duncan? Formed to “foster the co-operation and integration of dog obedience training clubs on Vancouver Island,” the association’s function was to “act as a clearing house for dates of proposed trials and track tests.”

2014 Team Challenge results: 3-Person Team won by Greater Vic.; 2-Person Different levels won by NOSA (Jane Morrison and Duncan Morrison; and the 2-Person, Same Level was Cowichan Dog Obedience Club).
